Thank You Everyone!!!

Now that the dust has settle it’s time for me to thank everyone for the participating in an awesome two days of fun and fund raising. This years Night of Entertainment was over the top once again with Neal and the Viper filling the dance floor from the very first note. The Nakeds took it from there and Maxine Nightingale added beauty and class to our stage dazzling everyone with her presences and incredible voice. The Temptations pushed us over the top with hit after hit, after hit, after hit. And then, there was Jerome Mystic ending the show with his Mystic’s with chaotic thunder! Tickets sales were phenomenal. The golf tournament for the first time in many years was sold out. Although there is no cap on the amount of golfers we can have, it has been a long time since we double filled every tee box on the course. Both the Crowne Plaza and Potowamut Golf Club were once again were an essential part in providing us with their professional services and cordial staff, again, essential in pulling off a two date event with such magnitude.

A special thank goes out to Andy Gresh and WPRO, who not only golfed with us, but also broadcasted his show live from Potowamut from 6:00p to 9:00p on Monday. The exposure we received from this aspect of the event was incredible and priceless.

As Chairman of Rock N Jock Charities, my team and I would like to thank everyone for attending the Night of Entertainment and Golf Tournament. It’s your donations that help us in an effort to end the suffering of children with life threatening illnesses and their families in Rhode Island. We are in the process of tallying the numbers so we can post our figures for this years events. We are also waiting for our staff photographer to send the edited photos which will document this years fund raiser. In the coming weeks I will be posting the final figures so everyone will be aware of how much money we have raised to donated to our beneficiaries. I will also be posting photos documenting our very successful two day event.

Next year, 2020, will mark our 20th anniversary of our Rock N Jock Charities Fund Raiser. Mark your calendar of Sunday, August 9 and Monday, August 10, 2020. We hope to see everyone once again to celebrate 20 year of helping children with life threatening illnesses and their families in Rhode Island!
